Hi

I’ve started using ovulation strips this month but not sure if it’s going right or not.

Do these look to be going the right way?

Hey! doesnt look like youve had your positive yet... 26th & 28th april were your darkest but that line needs to be darker than the control line to be positive!
do you know your cycle length - ive been temping aswell as tests .
good luck 😃

Thanks for replying hun

My cycle is usually 35 days. I’m using an app which estimates when I should ovulate and says this weekend just hoping I do.

How are you finding it

If your cycle is usually 35 days, then you’ll ovulate approx CD21, which means you’ll get your peak approx CD19. But these are just approx and could be out by a day or two! So keep testing! The key is to do it multiple times a day. I HATE opks, but they’re a necessary evil!

Thank you that’s really helpful

You are right a necessary evil. Think I will do bbt as well as tests next month.

Hopefully I will get my peak this month 🤞

I would highly recommend ovusense if you want to start BbT! However, temping only confirms after you have ovulated. But I like it as it shows me that I am actually ovulating (as I feared I wasn’t!).
The key to OPKs is perseverance. I see people who do it up to 5 times a day! I was never that dedicated, so often missed my peak. But, with the help of BbT, I was able to pinpoint a really accurate fertile window.., now to actually get pregnant haha.
Good luck

Hi!
your tests seem to be gettting darker so keep doing them.
i got a positive test on cycle day 12 then it got lighter thereafter and my temp dropped before then spiked afterwards .
been told that temp drops before eggs released then spikes after ovulation has occurred?
im not waiting for af to show on 7th may xx
