Hi Annie,

I'm Catherine, one of the Parent Supporters here at Netmums. Sorry to hear how hard it feels at the moment. It sounds like you have support around you which is really positive. Are you able to tell your nurse or husband how you feel? Many mothers experience post natal depression - you are not alone. When people are feeling down, often our thoughts and feelings can be very hard on ourselves. Please be gentle with yourself. You are doing the best you can. Have you heard of Tommy's? They have some excellent resources around post natal mental health - I'll link it here in case it is helpful: The Signs of Postnatal Depression (tommys.org)

Hopefully some of our lovely community will be along soon to offer support soon. I've asked for your post to moved into your drop in clinic where I think you will get more support. Please come back to us if you would like to chat some more.
