The official advice on eating grapes in pregnancy

Good news! Grapes are safe to eat in pregnancy, including red, black and green grapes.

The NHS recommends eating at least five portions of fruit and vegetables when you're pregnant as they provide lots of vitamins, minerals and fibre to help keep you healthy.

You may have heard that grapes aren't safe to eat in pregnancy because they contain resveratrol, which could cause pregnancy complications if consumed in large amounts. However, it's thought that you would need to eat a LOT of grapes for it to have any negative effect.
