The official advice on eating hummus in pregnancy

The NHS recommends hummus as a healthy snack eaten with wholemeal pitta bread or vegetable sticks during pregnancy.

However, it's worth noting that hummus is made with tahini, which in some countries such as Australia and New Zealand is considered unsafe in pregnancy due to listeria risks.
