Apple tart

A really simple apple tart recipe...

  • shortcrust pastry (shop bought or homemade)

  • 3 golden delicious apples

  • 2 tsp sugar

  • cinnamon

  1. Line a 20cm loose based tart tin with a shortcrust pastry and bake it

  2. Peel, core and thinly slice 3 golden delicious apples and arrange them in the base of the tart

  3. Sprinkle with 1-2 tsp of caster sugar and some ground cinnamon

  4. Bake at 180'C/350'F/Gas mark 4 for 15-20 minutes

You will need

20cm loose based tart tin - This one from MasterClass is crafted from commercial-grade carbon steel tin and is electroplated and sandblasted for extra durability. It makes it easy to achieve delicious bakes and is available at Amazon for £9.29.
