How to spot the logo that shows products have been trialled and tested by REAL families – and they say they'd happily recommend to other parents

Many of us look out for discount stickers and special offers in store but did you know there's another stamp you should be looking out for, too? The Netmums Recommended badge.

You'll spot this pink and white roundel stamped on products in the supermarket and other stores, and it's an easy shortcut to find items that have the seal of approval from other families.

What does the Netmums Recommended stamp mean?

Each product bearing this badge has been put through its paces by real families in real homes across the country. After families have tried the product for a specified amount of time, Netmums asks them for their HONEST feedback.

Does every product tested get the Netmums Recommended badge?

Nope. Whether or not a product gets the Netmums Recommended stamp of approval all comes down to what the families who tested it say.

The 'Netmums Recommended' logo will only be issued if:

  • 80% of families (or more) recommend the product on a trial for more than 100 products
  • if it's under 100 products, then 90% of families (or more) need to recommend it

That way, you know the logo is a true stamp of approval and only found on products that parents and children say they enjoyed using and would recommend to other families.
