'This time around I have more fears and more concerns'

Speaking to The US Sun, Maya said: 'I am 9 months pregnant and I'm expecting a baby girl any day now.

'It's exciting, but also this time around I have more fears and more concerns given the last circumstances. I kept quiet on social media because I lost a baby when I was nine months pregnant in the past.'

The reality star suffered a stillbirth at 38 weeks in December 2021. Six months later, she tragically had a miscarriage at 10 weeks.

'I had a huge void to fill'

Speaking about trying to have another child following the losses, Maya said:

'I know it's hard to understand why I would bother to get pregnant again, but I had a huge void to fill. I stayed calm and positive.

'I'm very lucky and thankful for my kids. It was just something that was missing. No one expects to lose a child and give birth to a stillborn. I hope my story will inspire other women going through any loss.'

Discussing the stillbirth a year ago during the season 5 Selling Sunset reunion episode, Maya explained that 'time helps.'

Speaking to her co-stars, Maya said:

'I want to say thanks to each and every one of you. Whenever sh*t hits the fan, everyone was so kind here. Life happens. We're filming reality. We don't know how things will happen.'

Maya and David are also parents to their son Aiden, 4, and daughter, Elle, 3.

Selling Sunset will be arriving to Netflix for its 6th season on 19 May, although Maya has confirmed she will not be returning to the show.
